Jillian is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who is the founder of Jillian Cea Mental Health Counseling PLLC. She has over 9 years of experience in the counseling field and specializes in treating anxiety & panic disorders, grief, chronic pain, ADHD, and trauma-related experiences. Jillian also has extensive experience in supporting individuals going through life transitions such as starting a new job, moving, beginning college, or significant relationship changes.
When working with Jillian you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you truly feel heard and seen without judgement. She guides her clients in better understanding the “why” behind their symptoms, which aids in healing from the inside out. While her approach is insightful, Jillian also incorporates evidenced-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness/ meditative practices, and somatic processing which can all assist in coping with challenges such as trauma-responses, chronic pain, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts.
Jillian’s work has been featured on News 12, Iona University’s Ionavation podcast, and has spoken at various educational and community panels. In 2019, Jillian developed and facilitated a volunteer grief support group to support those in the community who have lost a loved one. She has a history of volunteering with the Bereavement Center of Westchester since 2016, where she provided support to those who have lost a parent, sibling, or spouse. Jillian has an integrative approach to mental health, specifically focusing on the connection of the mind and body when facing mental health challenges. Jillian believes that each individual has their own, unique journey to healing, and therefore uses an eclectic style to meet the needs of her clients.
